Here is a list of the 22 productions that have been approved for the California Film tax incentives. This is just the first batch that was awarded on Aug 25th. Another application window opened up on the 25th thru the 27th. Some of these productions listed are shows going into a second season, some are new productions, and even more exciting, a few are shows RELOCATING to LOS ANGELES!

This week, Mayor Karen Bass, after a 2 year vacancy, appointed Steve Kang, president of the Board of Public Works, to the post of City Film Liaison. This position serves as the point person for productions looking to shoot in Los Angeles. Kang will be assisted by Dan Halden from the Bureau of Street Services and producer Amy Goldberg.
